Patch was kinda rocking at first for me - especially when I was over in Broooklyn. It was showing up in my feeds or when i went searching for stories in some states.
Then AOL got them and suddenly I saw no posts from The Patch on my feeds - for like all of 2013.
What happened?
- aaronem 13y agoSounds like AOL happened. As far as I can tell, they've never been all that comfortable with this new-fangled "inter-web" nonsense.
- clockworkelf 13y agoI'm pretty certain Patch will fail in the long run. I checked "local" news from Florida, then from New York. They both had the same "What Obama Could Learn From Pete Seeger" article. People see through this syndicated crap that they try to pawn off as local news.
