Piazza, a class discussion app, seems to have good adoption even at schools that use Blackboard. I'm hoping to do similar for homework collection with Classhand. I expect a switch to a basic platform with apps like Piazza that offer tailored features/user experiences. Not unlike the Salesforce ecosystem.
