I think this resume stands out perfectly for the type of job he's trying to land. Sure this resume falls flat for a company looking for specific skills but I think this is more geared towards a company and position where they aren't sure what they want until they see it. I'd definitely spend the time to figure the whole thing out if I got a resume like this on my desk.
