Except that now a days Tesla is practically worshipped and Edison is known as the guy who shocked elephants in the street.
- protomyth 13y agoOnly in tech circles, otherwise it is "Tesla? isn't that a car?".
- hackula1 13y agoIDK, I feel like this has shifted in the last generation. Nobody is shocked nowadays when you inform them that Columbus was a bad guy, and the same historical rethink in pop culture is happening with Edison.
- protomyth 13y agoI don't know about Columbus[1] since he was always a bad guy when I grew up, but I still think Edison gets plenty of good press. 1) went to school on reservation - "Discovered" is not the word used
