I don't know, maybe I'm too cynical, but I don't think posting personal information online is a good idea.

- tsheng 13y agoAgreed. Had a brief "aww" wash over me that quickly turned into "but what if... oh no..."
- bluetidepro 13y agoI couldn't agree more. This has something like 4chan spam written all over it. They have done much worse, from much less. It's messed up, but it's a sad truth.
- Spittie 13y agoI don't see why you had to name 4chan into this. They have done nice things as well, like http://tech.slashdot.org/story/10/09/05/2148248/4chan-Gives-90-Year-Old-Vet-a-Great-Birthday http://tech.slashdot.org/story/10/09/05/2148248/4chan-Gives-...
- moot 13y agoBecause 4chan is the worst place on the internet!!!!!!!!!
- nmcfarl 13y agoIf your street address isn’t on the internet you are doing way better than I. Some recruiter a 5 or 7 years ago or so went so far as to scan my paper resume, (with my address), did OCR, and posted it on the net. My wife’s in a profession that needs registration with the state - they post the office address in the net - so no home offices. Got a land line, and in the white pages - like everyone in my parent’s generation? Your address is on whitepages.com (and plenty of other places.) The number of ways this info leaks to the net is astounding.
