- Zirro 13y agoPartially. I am old enough to remember computers with one floppy drive (for old software, explaining the A:-position), but too young to have experienced the times when you needed two.
- agildehaus 13y agoI'm from the time when A: meant 3.25" and B: meant 5.25", but you certainly didn't need a B:.
- gutsy 13y agoYou never NEEDED two. All two did was make it easier to copy disks, and sometimes make it so you changed disks less often.

- pjmlp 13y agoYes. I am old enough to have seen DIY 8bit computer kits on hardware stores. My first computer was a Timex 2068, using a tape recorder with counter! The dream of every kid was to have a double deck tape recorder.

- klackerz 13y agoI am just 22 years old and I knew the answer. The first computer I used back in 98 came with floppy disks
