Well, the Chevy Volts' lithium ion batteries also have fire issues too. Not to mention overheated laptops with li-ion batteries that have caught on fire.

- smileysteve 13y agoNews, Every car has batteries that are potential fire/explosion/acid explosions. I've seen a standard 12v lead acid battery evaporating/boiling hydrochloric acid out of its vent holes, I've also seen one smoking about to explode.
