Any ideas, constructive criticism and comments are more than welcome. I created this thinking that a good way to improve your sex life is to know what your partners would actually like and so I gave them a place where to write it and vote it. Hope you like it! I want to improve it now

It's an interesting concept, though I don't know if I understand how this will help people improve their sex life. It's just about sharing secrets anonymously, right?

  I can't see it improving anyone's sex life. Even with 24/7 moderation to weed out the joke/troll posts (which I can envisage a site like this being a real honey-pot for), everyone's tastes and desires are different. So the best way to improve your sex life will still be the old fashioned methods; to read their body signals (it shouldn't take a genius to tell if you're turning on your partner) and even just to talk to them (assuming you're in a relationship). Best of luck to the OP though.

    See you are totally right what you say it is about communicating (listening, understanding and talking). Unfortunately this does not come so natural to everyone and talking with sexologist they tell me that the (lack of) good communication is what brings their patients to see them. Sexycrets wanted to give some better tool to improve this communication.

  Well, at first one of my ideas was to allow users to vote the tips they liked most and having them matched with other users (of the sex they were interested into) interested in doing the same things. Also for already established sex relationships I thought this could have been a tool where both can select what they like and we show them just what they both like. In this way we take away the negative embarrassment of getting your ideas refused. What about it?

I think you will have a very hard time getting people to use this by making them sign up. You should use a captcha instead. I also don't think most people would find unsolicited, anonymous sex tips that useful, but Cosmo sells, so there could be an audience. edit: Or is it supposed to more like a post secret type thing?

  Actually I was hoping to create something more interactive, like two people who have sex (or want to) in the real life and are too shy to share their fantasies. So with this you could vote them and, apart from getting new ideas, you would be notified just of the tips your partner DOES like and he/she of the ones you DO like.

  A "PostSecret type thing" would make having a signup even less appropriate...

    The sign up is for letting you vote, make sure users vote a tip just one time. Also when you login you can see all the tips in one page and divided in categories, create your profile and (in the next versions) get in touch with people with your same desires.

Hot or Not for written sex tips? It looks like this would survive based on the number of people interacting with it, and hiding your content behind a signup form might limit that. Hot or Not added a matchmaking service, which might work in your case better than advertising alone. The additional service is where you would want them to sign up. (Freemium) Forcing the reader to rank them, before seeing the next one, makes me wonder if people would just vote something random instead of actual feedback, like hot or not, which makes the numbers irrelevant. They might be better expressed as just a general percentage sexy ranking.

  Good point. When I implemented the votes I was thinking to use them on a single tip in this way you have your own list of tips you DO like, you DO NOT like and you MIGHT try. So the ranking is not between a tip and the other but an quality indicator of if you like that particular tip or not. Does it make sense?

    The per-tip voting makes sense. The three options for voting is also sensible and would be necessary for doing user matching or comparison, I just think the numbers would be better expressed, on the page, as a single average per tip. And, a spam flag for each tip would be good.
