I think it shows an internal party struggle. People in the Wiki Leaks Party disagree with the way it is being run -- basically a vote of no confidence for JA. Not damning, just embarrassing for the WLP.
- platzhirsch 13y agoYes, very embarrassing for a democratic party to have internal disagreement. How dare they! If members of party are upset of how it is being run, then I think it is a good sign that they do not simply elect someone as party executive and start to agree with him/her beyond questioning. What I think is embarrassing, is doing the opposite. Electing someone internally, and then being afraid to speak up because it could damage the reputation of the party. As a matter of fact, this is the status quo I know from leading political parties in Germany. A counterexample is the Pirate Party.
