There's a bottleneck somewhere in the algorithm that creates wordoids. That's why wordoid.com is irresponsive sometimes. The webserver and the database seem to run smoothly.
- gills 17y agoDo you mean that when I click "go", the wordoid-generating algorithm is kicked off during the request cycle? Have you considered generating the wordoids asynchronously (offline) and keeping an index of them and their metadata?
