I have to agree, at least in terms of these Trek sites. The latest versions of Safari, Firefox, and Chrome constantly use 50%+ of my CPU to render these pages, without me having to scroll or interact at all. For a site that doesn't use any plug-ins, it sure heats up my laptop like a plug-in would. * Edit: I only meant to agree that these specific Trek sites feel very slow, not "all Google services."
