Nope, it's just a redirect to Google with your query filled in for the appropriate query string argument.
If you want to use Google privately, use Start Page (http://startpage.com http://startpage.com) or Ixquick (http://ixquick.com http://ixquick.com).

- schrodingersCat 13y agoixquick is its own thing, but startpage mostly gets its content from google. If you want a secure way to search (mostly) google, use startpage. I miss scroogle...
