Is it just me or does this article have zero attribution for the author? I see that it says this was taken from print, but who wrote it?

  The economist has used Editorial Anonymity since 1843 and is edited to read in a single style: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Economist#Editorial_anonymity http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Economist#Editorial_anonymi... Obviously there is plenty of criticism of this practice, even on Wikipedia.

      You're welcome. They have certain columns with a pseudonymous byline (e.g. Bagehot, etc), but I don't know whether they are written by an individual or a team.
