- davidcuddeback 13y agoYes, but the reason that they would be good candidates to lead the hearings is that they've been trying to warn us about surveillance abuses for a while. They didn't wait until it was politically advantageous (read: after the Snowden leak) to do so. Source: the second link in your comment.
