Before I read the article; why does the permalink symbol looks exactly like the infinity symbol (∞)?
- arscan 13y agoBecause it is an infinity symbol (U+221E). I guess the idea is that the permalink will last for an infinite amount of time. I personally think its pretty clever.
- lvillani 13y agoI guess it's because this is what a permalink really is: an URL meant to last forever (hence the infinity symbol).
