I think he will veto it to assert his dominance when his threats to veto are not taken to heart. That or he was bluffing again.
- jbooth 13y agoHis threats to veto it guaranteed that the Republicans would all line up behind it. So we've got the people who've been saying they're libertarians and he's a socialist tyrant for years, and they're determined to give him and the federal government more power. Because he doesn't want it.
- sehugg 13y agoThe last full-term President with fewer vetoes was a member of the Whig party.
