Technically, they don't support it. People have just figured out how to side-load it and Amazon hasn't done anything to block it.

- r00fus 13y agoExactly. So perhaps Amazon might begin to block it in the future. I don't really see that happening soon, however. Amazon hasn't built up enough critical mass to ditch the larger Android ecosystem.
