I've got the same issue actually - I've been thinking of using Postach.io as a way to collect random musings and photos of text in books I'm reading / pondering

  Evernote is perfect for using as a commonplace book [1] for exactly this purpose. The only drawback is that it's hard to view in a chronological order, which is a key part of the commonplacing idea. Seems like a blog platform on top of it could solve this right away.     ?? Evernote lets you view by created date or updated date, I use both of those all the time.
