Firefox's dev tools are still inadaquate compared to the ones in Chrome, even with Nightly. Thankfully Firebug and another Firefox profile solves that. As far as opening both Nightly and Aurora, create a shortcut to Nightly with the following options "...\firefox.exe -p -no-remote". This will let you select a profile on startup, keeping your Aurora and Nightly profiles separate and running both at the same time.
