It's a complete and utter fallacy to say that the government doesn't have the authority to kill people without due process. The police and Federal law enforcement do it all the time. It's called justifiable homicide.
- erichocean 14y agoIt's called justifiable homicide. And it requires an actual incident, with some kind of "eminent harm". That's a lot different than what Rand Paul is talking about, which is targeting someone who is just going about their day that the government would prefer to dispatch without going to trial. (If you object to the "just going about their day" part, that's exactly how we do drone strikes outside the US.)
