What about people that don't want to log in with their social account? Local logins are also an option. However, social logins do indeed provide an ease of use. Perhaps some sort of backup login system might be used as well? Like get the emails when people first sign up and if your login provider is down send a temporary login link to the users email. >The flamewar control seems that it might hamper legitimate conversations.
