I bet this is part of the problem: we don't really know how to define (and thus identify) sexism properly.
- healsdata 14y agoExcept, like most words, sexism has multiple definitions and you've conveniently plucked the one that makes your point. Here's the second from Merriam-Webster: "behavior, conditions, or attitudes that foster stereotypes of social roles based on sex" These behaviors continue to push the idea that women are eye candy.
- atc 14y agoThey are eye candy. Just like men are. The problem is when the target (man or woman) is isolated to purely that role.
