Incorrect. He was welcome on the network, as is everyone on MIT's public network. His specific downloading activity was unwelcome.
- mpyne 14y agoHis IP address and later his MAC address were blocked. The situation was analogous to walking into a public mall and then specifically being kicked out and told to not come back. Should you come back anyways it is trespassing despite being a public space.
