Is this what we call "net metering" here in the US? Unfortunately this region only has "buy-all-sell-all", no intraday prices, and and still not enough storage to store solar from peak at noon until evening commute:

A market economist might remark that
perhaps that shouldn't be surprising given the lack of intraday rates and the buy-all-sell-all policies.
