If they welcome reporting, I'd be surprised if they care about (or check) whether or not the reporter is a tourist. They just want to know about the litter.

- gieksosz 3d agoin my municipality reporting is anonymous, so a tourist could report it. They have to know where first which takes a bit of search.
- herbst 3d agoI rather mean it's so common that I doubt they want me to report all the weird, remote and hidden places I find when the problem is so much bigger and obvious everywhere else.
- JohnFen 3d agoYeah, there is the question of how bad does it have to be to report. Certainly, they don't want people calling about a single cup stuck in a bush somewhere, but do want people calling about a pile of domestic garbage. My personal rule of thumb would probably be to only call if it were an amount significantly above average for the area, or if it's public trash bins that are overflowing and need to be emptied.
