You're still saying "as a developer you control" though, so one would assume it'd be the same for rest of white collar work though. And since we're all obviously familiar with Jevons paradox (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jevons_paradox https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jevons_paradox), it might not lead to a downturn in employment at all. But on the other hand, maybe all it takes is a "developer" regardless of sector, so everyone will end up being a d̴e̴v̴e̴l̴o̴p̴e̴r̴ agent hand-holder.
