Marx did envision the atomization of labor, of individual entrepreneurs selling their own slice of the means of production. I am skeptical that such a system will result in better living conditions for workers. It hasn’t worked for Uber drivers.
- newtonianrules 6d agoThey’re not selling their own slice of labor though. They’re effectively employees that have to pay a bunch of costs that would be covered by their employer if they were classified correctly.
