The front page is a reflection of what folks want to see. AI is certainly mentioned a lot but it’s also top of mind for every industry atm. I still see a lot of diversity in posts though. After all this is a VC forum for startups.
- hypfer 6d agoThis was true before the Internet was overrun with bots. "Folks" doesn't mean what it did mean years ago.
- infecto 6d agoLife is always changing. HN has gotten more popular over the years and at least it feels materially different in comment quality. Bots are always a problem but that’s not why you see different things on the front page, that might be your nostalgia taking over.
