Twilight Zone: "A nice place to visit". Most people have a vision of heaven as free of problems to solve. (and a long list of other vexations gone away) For most, it's a vision of hell. And there's the Buddhist story that dwelling in one of the "heavens" where one need not worry about food and clothing, nor are there problems to solve, makes one lazy and in need of a return to an earthly "boot camp" to get right and lose the selfishness. AI is indeed artificial, and the "high" of having all at the push of a button becomes depressing. And TBH, as with all technology, how it's used is critical. As I posted earlier:[0] ----- AI may not kill us, but people using AI have already killed many. It's a choice. It is astounding how many participate in, abet and condone killing.
