Actions speak louder than words, and the actions of the US military industrial complex over the last decades has been absolutely and fundamentally appalling.
- tosti 6d agoThey're meant to protect you. It's like Bruno Mars except not just saying but actually obligated to catch a grenade for you if the situation arises. Your gripe is more likely to be with the politicians using their strength to force their opinion onto places they're not in charge of.
- King-Aaron 6d agoAs speaking from the perspective of someone who is not American, the view most people have of them is that the American Military does not protect anyone other than the agenda of corporate America. Again actions speaking louder than words, there is zero argument that can be made to change my perspective on this.
