Where are you not getting this? You mean taxes on top of the retail price? You would pay cash, if the merchants colluded with you in evading taxes?

- avianlyric 7d agoYou could just do what all of Europe does and just include the tax in the listed retail price, rather than only tacking it on at the end.
- kazinator 6d agoWhile that simplifies things for the customer, who knows exactly what they will pay, it's hiding the theft, making it look like it's part of the price charged by the merchant, even though the merchant has to remit that money.
