- MBCook 7d agoYeah, I wish they would go back to live, or at least parts of it live. They did a great job during the pandemic but it has lost some humanity and authenticity.
- Danox 7d agoLive was fine for Steve Jobs most people aren’t Steve Jobs who had the gift.
- MBCook 7d agoThey still had other presenters at those. Let a video do the big reveal and overview then let the people talk about details or do demos. I don’t know exactly toy. But there must be something with a little more life.
- ndr42 6d agoI remember the presentation of the first iPhone and the extreme contrast of Steve Jobs to the representative of the cellular provider. Scroll to 1:11 and see for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQKMoT-6XSg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQKMoT-6XSg Yes they had some good other presenters at the keynotes but Steve Jobs was extraordinary.
- Shadowmist 7d agoEspecially with the studio recorded voices that uncannily don’t quite match the video.
- bryan0 6d agoI think they switched to prerecorded after the failed Face ID demo. Remember that?
