- They actually might have nailed the hinge and crease problems.
- I've been excited for this release ever since the rumor of the iPhone Air being a prototype of sorts for this came out. Two iPhone Airs fit very comfortably in my hip pack (though I only ever have one at a time).
- nozzlegear 7d agoThe fact that it works with the pencil is a huge selling point for me. I wasn't really interested in a folding iPhone, but having something I can write on without also needing to carry an extra device or pocket notebook is really cool.
- WillAdams 7d agoYeah, I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, Book 3 Pro 360, and a Kindle Scribe Colorsoft as well as a Wacom One attached to a MacBook and more styluses scattered around my house and bags than I could easily count, but this makes me at least a little curious about switching away from Wacom EMR.

- tstrimple 6d agoMy interest in a folding iPhone depends on the form-factor of the most compact aspect ratio. Apple seems really reluctant to show the folded phone versus other models. I can see the appeal of the tranformation into a larger form factor, but I already have issues with the size of Apple phones. And I have big hands. My hands cramp on small handhelds like the Switch. But I'd also like to be able to single hand respond to things on my phone if it's possible.
- MrDunham 6d agoWoah... thank you for sharing RE the Pencil, because that was the only killer feature that I could think of that would get me to buy the Duo. Taking notes during an in-person meeting with the pencil feels (and looks) much more "they care about what I'm saying" VS "they're texting/emailing someone" (when typing on a phone or computer). And even with mobile dictation/notetakers, there's something that screams respect when someone writes actual notes down by hand. Big big deal indeed, thanks for sharing.

- tstrimple 6d agoWith the rate that any sort of respect is disappearing from society, I'm sure you're right. It would never occur to me to brighten up my mail carrier's day by giving them a small gift for x-mas. But my wife who is a whole six days older than me has picked up on this lesson from her mom. Not just gifts. But "thank you"'s as well. My kids birthdays aren't over until they have completed the "thank you" responses to the gifts that they have received. All I have learned from this is that my wife is a better person than I am.
- musictubes 6d agoIt will work with the pencil. They were really vague on when that will happen. I wonder how much additional thickness was added to the phone to get pencil support on both screens.
- niutech 5d agoYou could always use good old pen and paper rather than Apple Pencil or Remarkable Move.
