I think Covid showed pretty definitively that avoiding illness through extreme social isolation is not worth the costs in emotional and social development.
- adamrezich 7d agoThere is a broad spectrum between “extreme social isolation” and sending your very young children to be taken care of at a daycare with dozens of children every day just so both parents can work just because that's how society has decided to orient itself.
