My family are Orthodox Christians from Jordan, where the (minority) Christian culture is very orthodox, even though there is a large number of Catholics. It was very fascinating for me to see the huge difference between Catholics in Germany (where I live now) to the very Orthodox-style Catholics back in Jordan.
