You seem to be missing a basic fact about how the world works: there are two classes of people, those who make the rules, and those who are expected to follow the rules. These classes are largely disjoint.

- roblatham 7d agoThere is indeed a Frank Wilhoit you're thinking of (died in 2010, active in political science and a professor at Drake University) The Frank Wilhoit quoted in parent is just some random dude who posted a pithy comment on a blog post. so good news, you can engage with the quote without any Kissinger or CIA baggage.
