If the severity of punishment for violations was high enough, we would only need very few example cases, before it stops.
- maccard 8d agoseverity of punishment does not correlate to reoffending rates. We’ve seen this time and time again. Consistency of enforcement does.
- zelphirkalt 8d agoConsistently collecting pennies also won't do. Both is needed. It needs to hurt the business in violation, and it needs to be consistent.
