Historically, resets have been a global war or economic meltdown, coupled with massive government-driven redistribution supported by popular opinion.
ZIRP post-COVID had a net effect of keeping the wealthy wealthy, without redistributing. For all the hay made about salary support, the Fed had more power in deciding who felt the pain.
