I applied in February, included answers to your questions, my email was not generic - it was fully handwritten for your post, it only talked about things relevant to Puma, and included a CV. I received no response either.
I'll be honest, it's not looking good for you
- html5cat 11d agoWhich of these two are not generic? There's dozens you spammed us and other startup founders with. Some are just empty emails with just CV. None were sent in Feb fyi. "I have attached my resume in response to your posting. I am interested in interviewing ASAP." "Good afternoon, I saw your post on HackerNews and I am interested in interviewing. Best, Brian"
- boltzmann-brain 10d agoI'm not Brian. I also doubt Jose or Gleb were Brian. You're talking to another person now. I am the third person who replied to you in this thread. My friend, should you be hiring people if you get lost in a chat thread?
- html5cat 10d agothanks Gmail for Google Workspace for pulling Brian's threads when searched for `boltzmann-brain`. but yeah, if you bump the thread with `html5cat` mentioned i'll personally look into it – my goal is to respond to every earnestly submitted application despite the sea of AI slop. update: found your email – definitely well written but didn't have GitHub so it got skipped.
- boltzmann-brain 9d agodoubtful you've found the right email, but it's ok - the extent to which you're repeatedly confused about basic facts shows I'd hate having someone like that decide about my ongoing employment.
