I would love to do something like this, but I really don't like pair programming. I don't work well that way, and I'm just not interested in "improving" my skills at working that way. Pretty much everything else they have there resonates with me, though, and would enjoy living in NYC for 6 weeks to do it. But It's a bummer that pairing seems pretty fundamental/integral to what they want you to do there, else I'd apply.
