It's still shit but I wonder, what is really the thing anyone is trying to accomplish here? Genuinely. It's trying to rob people of opportunity to ever migrate and or seek a better life? not just between countries which will very obviously be restricted if actual AGI is ever achieved. Why would you ever give the chance for anyone to come to your country if you do not need their skillset? It would also prevent rural people/town people from going to the big cities. The obvious end goal is to create a bunch of different "permanent" classes or at least they hope so, I think however you can expect a ton of violence to come from this and people will wish they never invested the resources into this, something beyond what the french revolution ever was, I'm not saying I think it should happen or not, I'm just pointing out the obvious outcome of robbing people of value/worth/dreams in their life.
