On Sundays, you can send packages via paczkomats (outdoor lockers) and convenience stores (Zabkas) but the post office, DHL, UPS, etc. offices are closed.
- dwedge 10d agoI meant Żabka and Delikatesy use that loophole to stay open, so thousands of shops are still open
- keiferski 10d agoAh right. Well normal restaurants are all open too. Personally I would let grocery stores stay open, but having Zabka, Carrefour Express, etc. open is a decent compromise.
- gpvos 10d agoI'm curious why that is a loophole at all. Post offices are traditionally closed on Sundays all over Europe as far as I know, so sending or retrieving packages on Sunday is not a fundamental right or something. (And if you really want it, there are the automated lockers nowadays.)
