Your homemade bread is ultra-processed. But the process of turning wheat into flour is not magically unhealthy. It doesn’t work that way.
- californical 11d agoWhole wheat is not ultra processed though? It is processed but not ultra-processed. You can look into this by a simple search: “is flour ultra processed” and I got a number of results explaining the difference. White flour though, generally is
- lithocarpus 11d agoThat's what I meant, but you put it a bit more clearly. I do know a lot of people who grind their own flour fresh - that is real homemade bread and not ultra processed, and agreed, not magically unhealthy.
