Insane to be adding complexity, breaking compatibility and introducing new bugs to software that needs to function correctly.

On the other hand maybe adding this detailed error reporting will prove so useful to LLMs that it helps uutils adoption grow significantly, instead of uutils fading into obscurity while the world keeps running on the original coreutils.
