- Normal_gaussian 5d agocheap ones are in that range; the most expensive ones around $350/$400. I paid ~£200 for one about a year ago, which is ~$270 USD including sales tax. The top end takes the piss, but if you want certain features - particularly several in combination - its what they've segmented the market to.
