  Far from it. "What if [inflammatory proposition presented without evidence]?" is not contributory to truth-seeking. As Hitchens' Razor puts it: "what can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence." u/petesergeant was pointing that out to you, fairly gently if slightly obliquely.
