- lovich 12d agoI mean, they are masked, right? And they’ve been going around beating people and in a few cases killing them, like goons, right? Just because terms can and have been used hyperbolically doesn’t mean that the same term cannot accurately describe other situations.
- danparsonson 12d agoWell you're right, "goon" is a value judgement, but if someone's critical thinking extends no further than 'bad word therefore bad argument' then I'm not sure I could reach them in any case.
