- chuckadams 13d agoThis has the backing of the governor of the state, who I trust not one bit. But the removal is happening within 30 days, which gives him basically no wiggle room to undo it in a backroom deal.

- chuckadams 13d agoThose are presumably owned by the state, so there's no permit to revoke.

The primary concern is that these systems are being intentionally diminished as LPRs, and he specifically warned of a "digital AI surveillance state" when giving comments about it. He has also suggested ending toll programs, or exempting residents from tolls, so this is pretty consis
