- Yiin 14d agoicc is as strong as it can enforce its strength, if no one can challenge you, you don't play by the same rules everyone else do. Pretending otherwise is asking for trouble.
- selivanovp 13d agoA lot of countries never recognized ICC's jurisdiction over them, USA included.
- glimshe 13d agoRussia, China, Indonesia, Turkey, Pakistan and India are also non-signatories, among many others. The ICC exists mostly for political statements.
- quickthrowman 13d agoYes? Nation-states like the US (and China) are more powerful than any international organization and power dictates what happens in international relations. I’m not saying it’s right, I’m just saying it is what it is.
