I'd reverse the question and ask is there any reason to continue developing in .NET and windows-only languages when windows allows for WSL apps.
- encrypted_bird 14d agoPaint.NET has a *lot* of legacy code that cannot just be discarded. The dev said as much in their original post.
- timanderson 14d ago.NET is not a windows-only language. Actually .NET is not a language, C# is a language. I am currently working on a .NET GUI application for macOS.
